Disney World Might Construct a Wakanda Theme Park to Honor Black Panther

Chadwick Boseman abandoned his throne in the Kingdom of Wakanda forever. Black Panther fans were calling out for Disney to honor the late King and build a Wakanda theme park.

On Friday, the actor who played the role of Black Panther of Wakanda – the fictitious Kingdom of Africa - was reported to have died due to colon cancer.

Chadwick is known to be affectionate with his fans that are cancer patients without knowing that he has been fighting the disease as well for four long years.

As to honor the great actor, fans led by Whoopi Goldberg called out Disney to construct an additional theme park that is not “Frozen” again. Notably, Disney structured several attractions based on the popular Disney Princess movie, Frozen.

The Orlando Walt Disney World has “Frozen Ever After," “Royal Summerhaus" at Epcot, and “A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” at Disney’s Holywood Studios.

“The View” co-host wrote on twitter: “Dear People in charge of building NEW experiences Disney Land and World we don’t really need another Frozen land BUT we could use Wakonda. Please Disneyworld Disneyland PLEASE build in Chadwick Boseman’s name WAKONDA.”

Although Disney has no response yet regarding the Wakanda theme park, the company already announced last year that it will have a Marvel expansion at Disney California Adventure. The expansion will include “heroic encounters throughout the Avengers campus, including Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard and Iron Man.”

Chadwick Boseman’s departure at the young age of 43 made every Black Panther and Marvel fans pay tribute to a “wonderful actor” and a ‘’truly nice man”, as described by Goldberg. The whole world, his family, and his Marvel Studios family were in deep grief mourning for his loss.

The president of Marvel Studios and Marvel’s chief creative officer said that losing one of the Marvel actors was “absolutely devastating.” He added to his statement on CNN that, “He was our T’Challa, our Black Panther, and our dear friend. Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible. The Marvel Studios family deeply mourns his loss, and we are grieving tonight with his family.”
