Since the pandemic, lots of people cannot go to the gym and fitness centers to monitor their health. Luckily because of the advancement of technology, there have been various apps for monitoring well-being. However, some of these apps still need more updates to optimize features fully. But, there is an outstanding app in India called Cure.fit that made a significant breakthrough since the pandemic.
Cure.fit is a famous fitness and well-being app founded in 2016 by Ankit Nagori and Mukesh Bansal. It is an all in one platform that offers physical fitness training, workouts, a healthy diet plan, and even psychological well-being.
You can find in Cure .it all sorts of workouts in different categories such as strength, dance, and yoga. The app has its world-class trainers on each category where users can have a live session. They also level it up with an Energy Meter for the users to track their performance along with a weekly report.
Using the Energy meter allows the subscribers to use the camera to capture their body movements. Through these body movements, the app evaluates their energy level. The user will also be given an energy score to know their ranks for each session. This energy meter allows the users to get engaged in the course and keep track of their fitness goals.
This award-winning app in India has decided to expand its scope in the United States. According to the CEO of Cure.fit, Mukesh Bansal, it is “due to COVID-19 and changing culture” they have decided to expand the scope of this very innovative platform for those who don’t want to spend lots of money and those who want to stay fit and healthy even at home.
They had run a test of the app in the U.S. last month, and they’ve accumulated almost 12,000 downloads from that period. In India, they already have 300,000 subscribers, which they have made $400 million since it was founded.
“This is an exciting time for Cure.fit as our rapid growth will afford millions of new users in the United States the opportunity to enjoy our app during a time when people need it the most,” said Bansal.
The app offers free and paid premium. During the test period, it provided free sessions for those who downloaded the app. But, now that they have finally launched, changes will occur. Usually, users who acquired free subscriptions can only experience some of their recorded sessions. On the other hand, paid users can access to a one-on-one live session with a trainer.
The creators have also shared on their statement that their “goal has always been to offer our users a seamless and outstanding experience” remarks by the co-founder Ankit Nagori.
“By emerging real-time instruction and motivation with our proprietary Energy Meter, coupled with world-class trainers, the user experience of group fitness classes ins second to none”
