Days after their socially distanced conversation, former President Barack Obama continue to back up Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in his campaign to unseat Republican President Trump in the White House - this time with actor George Clooney.
Obama and Clooney are set on Tuesday afternoon to hold a virtual conversation to boost Biden’s campaign and a fundraising initiative to help the Democratic National Committee. Tickets will be available from $250 to $250,000, said sources familiar to the event. This was not the first time Obama joined in a fundraising event for the former Vice President, in June he brought in more than $11 million for Biden's presidential campaign making it as the best fundraising campaign so far for the Democratic camp.
As Biden continues to lead in polls, the Democratic nominee will unveil the final and the fourth pillar of his Build Back Better economic recovery plan on Tuesday in Wilmington, Delaware. The fourth plank of the proposal will tackle systemic racism and racial economic inequality, one of the most talk about national issues to date.
