The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reported having abandoned their Los Angeles mansion and moved to Santa Barbara County. Sources said that the royal family moves into their new home in July, where they will have celebrity neighbors.
The source told USA TODAY that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan “have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family.”
It was a devastating year for Sussex’s as they have already moved several times, facing the same problems repeatedly. The family can’t just get away with those curious people and media about their life even though they have slightly step back from the spotlight.
Recently, they have filed a lawsuit against a paparazzi who have been prying over their Los Angeles mansion. They have even found stolen photos of the son Archie being sold on the internet. It was huge, that according to the lawsuit, there were drones flown over the roof of the Sussex’s mansion and even helicopters early in the morning.
It was a tough year for the family since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to step back from their royal duties and be on their own last January. The speculations about the couple having to fund their expenses are still unclear.
So, the media and the public as well were curious about their current financial handling now that they have moved to a place where expensive and luxurious mansions are located.
According to the reports, the royal couple has bought a $14.65 million Montecito house. However, there have been no records of their names in the property grant deed but there are records that the property was acquired secretly in mid-June.
Meanwhile, Santa Barbara County would be the fourth location they have moved into since the start of the year. The royal family has added to the famous personalities who are also residing in the same place. Celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Costner, and Drew Barry more will be their neighbors.
