Senator Kamala Harris has been speculated to be the top choice when the news broke that the former Vice President will be picking a female partner to complete the Democratic ticket. On the more exciting part of this choice, Harris according to Decrypt, will team up with a known Chief Technology Officer who formerly served to one of the most innovative NBA teams, Sacramento King, Ryan Montoya. Montoya, crypto-friendly as reports say, will play the role of the director of scheduling and advance in Harris’ VP team. With a six-year worth of experience under Sacramento Kings, Montoya has a good background in politics as well. He was once an associate to the President’s Office back in Obama’s term.
The business magazine Fast company awarded Montoya and the Sacramento team in 2017 as the Most Innovative Company in Sports. The team has been actively participating in the digital assets market since 2014. Then in 2018, Sacramento started mining cryptocurrency and by last year they consider a blockchain-based token for their fans. According to the source, the NBA team made a collaboration with the New York-based blockchain incubator, ConsenSys, which led to an auction of the team's game-worn jerseys on the Ethereum blockchain.
Will Montoya be the missing link between the crypto-powered market and the White House, should Biden’s run this November election becomes successful?
